Located northwest of downtown Milwaukee, Germantown, Wisconsin is a small community bursting with pride of its German heritage. Also nearby is Pike Lake State Park, a great place for camping, fishing and boating all summer with cross-country skiing trails throughout winter. Six golf courses are located in Germantown, providing ample opportunities for golfers of all skill levels.
Germantown’s Chamber of Commerce offers many activities year-round, with a fantastic series of events highlighting the holiday season this December. With such a storied history, the Germantown Historical Society has helped to preserve seven district, historic hamlet settlements that are all now incorporated into the modern village.
